Golf at the picturesque Newbury Racecourse began in 1993. The course is now managed by Newbury & Crookham Golf Club and has recently undergone some major improvements.

The latest 9-hole (18-tee) course is set within the beautiful surroundings of Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire. The land is gently undulating and the make up of the subsoil and the excellent drainage allows the course to be playable throughout the year.

The course is entirely situated within the centre of the racetrack, offering links type golf with some additional water features.

The par 70 course is 6,088 yards in length and is surprisingly challenging thanks to its recent ground remodelling, its water features and newly placed bunkers. The course also benefits from the raising of several tees making many of the holes aesthetically pleasing and a gorse planting programme will help to provide both increased definition and a links feel.

Members at the Racecourse play a full and varied calendar of events throughout the year. There are Seniors and Ladies sections, but all members are positively encouraged to play together giving the club a family/friendly feel.
